ntl partners with Sinergis to target
UK’s top corporates
4 May 2004 – ntl’s business division, a leading provider
of communications services to businesses, has announced today that
it is partnering with Sinergis, an experienced corporate network
supplier, to target the UK’s top corporate companies.
ntl currently delivers a broad range of
voice, data and internet services to businesses and public sector
organisations through its regionally-based sales teams. The
partnership with Sinergis will compliment their activities,
providing ntl with a sales arm dedicated to working with large
corporates which have a national presence.
ntl has developed standard products and tailor-made managed
solutions to satisfy the sector’s requirement for high-speed,
secure and reliable connectivity. It will be offering Ethernet and
IP Virtual Private Network (VPN) services, and will be making use
of its MPLS and QOS - enabled backbone network. ntl has
partnerships already in place with key suppliers active in the
corporate sector, including Juniper, Cisco and Nortel.
ntl is one of the largest carriers of IP traffic in the UK and has
installed one of the most robust national DWDM networks to support
this. It also has the most advanced local loop network in the UK
and is therefore well positioned to provide optical and Ethernet
services to companies for their corporate and storage
networks.
