Individual team members kit list (mandatory)
The marshals will conduct random equipment inspections -
you will not be allowed to climb if you are missing any of the
mandatory items
- Base layer top
- Thermal Shirt and / or Fleece Jacket

- Walking Trousers or Leggings (Army Greens, Rohans, Crags
etc – cotton based)
- Waterproof Over trousers
- Walking Boots (broken in !)
- Thick walking socks
- Fleece Hat & Windproof Gloves
- Rucksack (max 30Litres) /Daysack
- Head Torch & spare Batteries
- High Visibility Bivvy Bag
- Whistle (no moving parts)
- First Aid Kit (Items required are listed below, also check out

- Food & Cold Drinks
- Mobile phone (with fully charged battery + 12v chargers
in vehicles)
- Sunscreen & Sun Glasses
- Money – small change
- Flask & hot drinks
- Spare dry socks
- Glow sticks (and cord) to be placed on back of rucksack when
walking in the dark

includes good advice from a qualified medic dealing with first aid
